Safety Rx Optician makes regular visits to the customer facility/location according to the agreed upon schedule. This can be weekly, bi-weekly, 2-3 times a month, once a month, etc. Whatever is best for our customers.

Safety Rx Optician brings out about 120-135 prescription safety frames of an agreed upon selection.

Optician assists employee with the frame and lens selection. Optician ensures proper fit for safety reasons and comfortability. Optician takes measurements for pupillary distance (PD) and bifocal, trifocal and/or progressive lens.

Optician explains the program to each employee and goes over lens coatings, treatments, etc. and helps decide what is best for them according to their job duty/responsibilities.

If order goes over the company’s allotted amount, payment at time of order will be taken from the employee at the time of order via squared or whatever the employee would like. Or if payroll deduct is allowed, Safety Rx optician will explain that.

Optician completes the order either written or electronically and sends it to our laboratory for manufacturing.

Our laboratory receives it and our (LMS) laboratory management software automatically bills the customer.

Safety Rx manufactures the prescription glasses and ships the glasses back to the Safety Rx Optician. 100% of the orders will always be complete on the next scheduled visit.

Safety Rx receives the completed glasses and brings them back on their next scheduled visit. Safety Rx Optician can notify employee via e-mail or phone that their glasses are ready.

Glasses will be fitted for safety, fit, comfort and accurateness of lens and measurements.
